Glossary

Here's a list of common terms used in Checklist:

Assignee - refers to a Service Provider. Service Providers are those companies or individuals who provide housekeeping, gardening, catering, maintenance or transportation. Any company/individual who performs a task at your rental can be considered a service provider. On Service Provider accounts, Assignee refers to the user on that account that's assigned to a job.

Assignment - a job that needs to be carried out by a service provider.

Assignment Request - a job request sent to a service provider. Service Providers may accept/decline.

Assignment Rule - a set of instructions to automate the creation/cancellation of jobs to service providers.

Assignment Strategy - the way in which assignment requests are sent to service providers- First come first serve or Priority.

Channel - an online booking site. For example, Airbnb. Booking.com, Expedia, Agoda, Homeaway, etc.

Checklist - a to-do list for your service provider to complete.

Checklist Items - each task or line item in a checklist.

Client - a property manager or administrator user who manages properties and is in charge of creating jobs and paying service providers.

Connection - a link to your channel. Checklist connects to channels via iCal.

Incident Report - Incident reports are used to record the details of any unusual occurrence while completing the job or after completion and are submitted to clients.

Invitation - a request sent by a Client to a Service Provider to invite the service provider to work with them on Checklist.

Job - work that needs to be carried out by a service provider.

Offer price - the cost of the job.

Problem Task - jobs that were started late, finished late, unassigned or an incident was reported.

Reassign - a button which allows the Service Provider Admin to assign the job to another user on their account.

Property - rental, building or a physical location where a job needs to be done.

Service Provider - companies or individuals who provide housekeeping, gardening, catering, maintenance or transportation. Any company/individual who performs a job at your rental can be considered a service provider.

Task - a single line item on the checklist.

Task History - the series of events associated with a job.

Tax template - all the possible taxes (tax & amount) that can be added to invoices.

Unassigned - the job is not assigned to a service provider because all service providers rejected request; request expired before Service providers accepted; Service provider was removed; Service provider deleted their account.
